Costbase is a cost-visibility dashboard: you connect provider accounts (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, OpenRouter, ElevenLabs) with admin or management keys, and Costbase reads usage and cost data from those providers' official reporting APIs. Costbase never sits in your request path, never proxies your traffic, and never sees your prompts or responses.
Figures marked as computed are estimates derived from usage multiplied by published prices; where providers report dollar amounts, we display those. Costbase is an analytics tool — your providers' invoices remain the authoritative record of what you owe them.
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email; you're responsible for maintaining access to that inbox. You must have authority to connect the provider accounts you connect. You may not use Costbase to access accounts you don't control.
Admin/management keys you paste are encrypted at rest, used only to call read-only reporting endpoints, and are never displayed again after saving. You can revoke them at your provider at any time, and deleting a connection deletes the stored key.
Costbase is a paid subscription ($19/month or $180/year) with a 14-day free trial that requires no card. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime from the Billing page, effective at the end of the current period. If something went wrong with a charge, email hello@costbase.co and we'll make it right.
If your subscription lapses, we keep syncing and retaining your data, but the dashboard is locked until you resubscribe. You can delete your account (and all data) at any time.
Don't attempt to breach, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, access other users' data, or resell the service without our agreement.
The service is provided 'as is'. We work hard to keep figures accurate and the service available, but we don't guarantee either, and we're not liable for decisions made on the basis of the data shown. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced by email or in the app. Continuing to use Costbase after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
